Exciting opportunity for a Senior Operations Professional:  this individual will lead operations management (manufacturing, quality, engineering, HSE, supply chain and continuous improvement) of a $200+ million division of a multi national company to achieve growth and profit targets.  Specific responsibilities include:
  • Ensure operations perform to achieve the business goals of the customers, the safety and welfare of the associates, and the goals of organization and shareholders.  
  • Major emphasis on developing and executing an aggressive growth plan 
  • Responsible for complete P & L, establishing metrics, formulating and administering company policies, execution, managing organizational structure and process improvement. 
  • Review and analyze sales activities, costs, operations, and forecast data
  • Act as technical contact point for customers 
  • Responsibility for up to 8  direct reports including 5 Plants, two divisional Leaders and over 1500 associates 
  • Manage a world-class customer-centric team, motivating and leading staff while optimizing costs, increasing revenues, driving LEAN manufacturing culture, instituting continuous improvement programs, and improving profitability.
Requirements:  Successful candidate will have:
 
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related
  • MBA or MS in a business related discipline strongly preferred
  • Already in a Senior Operations Management role within a CPG, food, or pharmaceutical environment 
  • Multiple location and multiple customer responsibility
  • Working in an FDA regulated industry (Contract Manufacturing, CPG food, Nutritional or Dietary Supplement or Pharmaceutical industry)
  • Understanding of OHSA Standards
  • Implementation of a continuous process improvement environment 
  • Business planning (budget, capacity planning and forecasting)
  • Have developed growth strategies and executed business plans 
  • P & L responsibility (minimum +$150 million)
  • Strong customer relationship skills (large account management: face to the customer)
  • Developing and/or negotiating contracts
  • Ability to Travel:  Up to 50%
