Prepare and maintain multi-axis mill, wire EDM, laser and lathe programs for CNC Machine Tools
Develop manufacturing processes for new products, and other in-house applications; i.e. gauges, tools and fixtures
Design or help in the design of jigs, tools, fixtures, and special equipment for CNC applications
Identify excessive cost, develop methods for cost reductions, and implement identified cost reductions
Assist quality engineers and operators with the validation of new or revised programs and processes
Maintain the integrity of CNC Programs and the DNC file systems.
Communicate and work effectively with manufacturing engineers and development engineers
Assist system designers, hardware specialist and software specialist with the introduction of new technologies and compute advancements into the manufacturing process.
Once comfortable with company processes and procedures you will help to assist and train other employees
High School Diploma or GED required: additional technical training preferred
2+ years in CNC programming machining (Unigraphics or Mastercam); medical or aerospace experience preferred
Working knowledge of cutting stainless steel, titanium steel or cobalt steel required
Windows based computer knowledge
General knowledge of manufacturing processes, methods and industrial standards
