Our client is the largest spa and wellness marketing company in North America, is seeking a seasoned Sales Administrative Assistant  in New York City. They are an established national brand with a blog and social community centered on beauty, fitness, fashion, food and health

The company's wide range of digital and retail products, including the bi-annual industry event are designed to address the evolving operational needs of spa and wellness centers to help grow their business. 
They are looking for an enthusiastic and highly motivated Sales Assistant to support their key sales positions. Someone who pays very close attention to detail and is passionate about delivering exceptional customer service to their clients and consumers.  The ideal candidate is extremely comfortable on the phone and is able to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Day to Day Responsibilities:
  • Editing and processing contracts with accuracy
  • Heavy phone work with incoming telephone calls and interacting with partners and consumers while ensuring total customer satisfaction
  • Directing inbound sales leads to appropriate member of sales team
  • Performing data entry - entering leads into the system, setting up listings for the company website and editing / uploading specials to the site
  • Resolving consumer issues in a prompt and professional manner
  • Accurately documenting consumers' inquiries in the database and reporting escalated issues to the appropriate person. 
  • Tracking sales data for bi-annual industry events
  • Assisting on other projects as needed
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Minimum three years of support or administrative experience in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent customer service skills, both verbal and written
  • Must be a self-starter able to prioritize multiple tasks, work with minimal supervision, exercise good judgment and be highly motivated and detail oriented
  • Must be flexible and have the ability to multi-task and exercise critical thinking skills
  • Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others; support team to reach common goals
  • Flexibility and adaptability within a fast-changing business environment.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint) and Google Docs
  • Plus: interest in marketing, experience with Photoshop
